Ingolstadt, 20.09.2018: Summer may be barely over, yet MediaMarkt is already turning up the heat on prices again! On Friday 21 September and Saturday 22 September 2018, customers purchasing items in any of MediaMarkt’s 275 stores in Germany or its online shop will have the amount of VAT taken off the price!
Under the motto “Tax haven Germany – we’ll pay your 19% VAT!”, customers will profit from the very first cent they spend during this two-day promotion, for no minimum purchase is required. It doesn’t matter whether they spend €1, €100 or even €10,000 – when it’s time to pay, they’ll automatically be given a discount amounting to the VAT included in the price.
This promotional offer will provide a welcome financial boost for numerous price-conscious consumers. Whether they opt for a stylish smartphone, a brand new smart TV or an energy-efficient fridge-freezer, there are considerable savings to be had, especially on high-ticket items. Mind you, it’s still worth buying less expensive items, too. Just bear in mind that the discount only applies to products which are in stock in the store or immediately available online.
Please note that some items and services are excluded from the promotion, including third-party contracts, books and e-books, prepaid top-up cards and services, delivery services, repairs and other services, download shops, shipping charges, photographic services, guarantee extensions, (digital) download, content and gaming cards, paysafecards and similar vouchers, experience gift vouchers, and gift tokens and boxes. Excessive quantities of items do not qualify for this special offer either. In addition, the promotional offer cannot be combined with other promotions.
