Visitors to this three-day video games fest hosted at the Leipziger Messe exhibition centre can look forward to Germany’s biggest LAN party, exciting eSports tournaments, a cosplay competition, and the exhibition DreamExpo. MediaMarkt VR Truck heading for DreamHack 2018
Another highlight in store for DreamHack visitors will be the MediaMarkt Truck. Measuring 18 metres from end to end, this giant mobile exhibition stand is an amazing attraction all by itself! Packed to the rafters with the very latest VR systems, fans will be invited to immerse themselves in the world of virtual reality. VR product demonstrations will be held in the spacious showroom inside the truck and the gaming zone at the back. The truck also features a powerful onboard PA for superb sound. Demonstrations will include incredibly realistic racing games with vibrating seats to complete the illusion of speeding along the track in a real racing car. Moreover, other virtual reality systems such as the Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and HTC Vive as well as 360° cameras like the Samsung Gear 360 can also be put through their paces. Meanwhile, on the truck’s special action area, visitors will even be able to experience a virtual rollercoaster ride inside a game cage!
