A chance to save loads of money: Saturn to deduct sales tax for its customers on 6 and 7 September
- All Saturn stores in Germany joining in
- Campaign to last even longer online from Thursday evening until midnight on Sunday
- Only applies to goods in stock
Ingolstadt, 05.09.2019: The summer may be drawing to a close, but if you thought the hot days were over, you’d be mistaken! This Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 September, things will be hotting up one more time at all Saturn stores in Germany – for the VAT (sales tax) will be knocked off nearly all items. However, since this deduction only applies to items in stock, it’ll be a case of first come, first save!

Saturn is launching a surprise coup this weekend to make shopping in late September a golden experience. It’ll be rewarding customers by taking the 19% sales tax off nearly everything in stock. Of course, those buying high-ticket items will save the most. Price-conscious customers thus stand to save a great deal of money – and they might choose to invest part of their savings in, for example, a Plus Guarantee to protect their new purchases from unforeseen repair costs, or a home visit by one of our engineers to have tech individually set up at home.
Time for sales tax discount deals!
One major advantage of the campaign is that Saturn will indeed be fulfilling nearly every wish – for the discount applies to almost its entire range with just a handful of exceptions. But please note that sales tax cannot be taken off third-party contracts, all download, content and gaming cards, gift tokens (cars and boxes), prepaid cards (including prepaid service cards), books, e-books, warranty extensions, delivery services, repair services, photographic services, food and drink, IQOS and e-cigarettes including HEETS and liquids, or shipping charges. By the way, customers have even more time to strike discount deals online. In Saturn’s online shop, this promotional campaign will start at 8pm on Thursday 5 September and continue until 11:59pm on Sunday 8 September. So come on – what are you waiting for?
